Creating World Class Helmet
We began pioneering the production of motorcycle helmets around 1980 in Indonesia to support the motorcycle riders' safety program. We always strive to produce helmets with quality production and processes that prioritize security and are supported by the best quality of basic materials that have been passed through rigorous product standards, namely applicable national and international standards.
We always try to create helmets with the latest innovations and creations, not only to support the safety of users, but also to adapt to the style and performance of motorcycle users.
Tara Group was established with more than 30 years of experience and produces helmets for motorcycle riders and has successfully launched famous helmet brands such as INK, KYT and MDS for the upper middle class and BMC and HIU for the middle to lower class.
Types of helmets produced range from Full face, Open face, Motocross and Modular (Flip Up). In this case the type of helmet starts from Top racing helmet for professional racers with composite fiberglass material up to the type of street for users in the city.

Tara group is the first producer to apply and meet various certification standards. Starting from 1992, we initiated our helmet products to have the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 1881 1990, which is now being revised to become Mandatory SNI namely SNI 1811 2007. Then it continues to expand the market share to foreign countries. We also conduct various kinds of research and development and transfer of technology from Europe, where our helmet products are successfully accredited with several international certifications that are important for international markets such as European standards (E2205), DOT FMVSS 218, SNELL, USA (Australian Standard) and SG Mark (Japanese standard for safety products)

The factory is located in the Lippo Cikarang industrial area with an area of 20,000 m2, a travel time of about 45 minutes from the center of Jakarta.
In terms of helmet production, we use the latest technology as well as expert support and technical cooperation with European manufacturers who have experience in the helmet industry. In the process of making helmets, we have an almost in-house production process. Supported by sophisticated machines ranging from shell printing, water jet cutting, painting, graphic manufacturing, EPS, inner liner to assembling process.
All through strict controls to produce the World's leading private label helmets and local brand helmets.
In terms of making helmet shells, we have a process of composite fiber glass technology for high-class racing helmets and thermoplastic (injection molding).
For the research and technology department, we have a special team and collaboration with European and American helmet manufacturers in producing contemporary product designs from technology, aesthetics and safety and comfort.
